​Chemical Technologies

The students study organic and non-organic chemical technologies, including technology of silicates and refractory nonmetallic materials, of water, perfume and cosmetics technologies, technologies of organic synthesis and others. The graduates acquire professional qualification chemical engineer  and can work in manufacturing and technological, design and consultancy, as well as research units of the chemical industry and other sectors, whose activities are related to chemical control and analysis. They are prepared to work on such levels in enterprises, companies and institutions, which deal with the above-mentioned chemical production lines.

Biotechnologies

The students study microbiology, biochemistry, ecology, main biotechnological productions, etc. The graduates acquire professional qualification engineer in biotechnology and are prepared to execute technological, control and analytical, as well as management work in the field of production of antibiotics, enzymes, carbohydrates, alcohols, organic acids, etc. They can work as technologists, specialists and managers of production sectors, laboratories, research sectors in manufacturing companies and institutes with activities in the field of biotechnologies.

Food technologies

The degree programme offers students profound preparation in food technologies (milk, meat, tinned foods, bread, confectionery, vegetable fats, etc.). The graduates acquire professional qualification engineer in food technologies and can find realisation in all spheres of food industry, including management positions at different levels in the respective enterprises, institutions and control bodies. They are particularly valuable for small enterprises and companies, using modern technologies in food production.
