Students from the "Technology Management and Service" major have the opportunity to actively participate in the research activities carried out by the department and thus acquire additional knowledge and skills in specific areas. Specializations are offered in three main directions:

  • Repair and Maintenance of Equipment;
  • Diagnostic and Service of the Technique;
  • Repair and Recovery of Resources.

    The lecturers from the department actively participate in various international educational and research programs such as TEMPUS, ERASMUS and Framework programs of the European Community. Within these programs, students can study at various leading universities in Great Britain, Greece, Turkey, etc.

    An active scientific research work related to research, design and construction, experimental and implementation activities is carried out, as well as theoretical, technological and other problems of repair and maintenance of equipment are developed not only by agriculture, but also in the field of motor transport, engineering, energy, etc. from the beginning of the creation of the department to the present moment.

    Most of the developed topics are directly aimed at improving the reliability indicators of the technique. In the developments, special attention is paid to the quality of pre- and post-repair diagnostics, technical maintenance and repair of machines, the quality of restored parts, etc. About 80% of the developed topics were completed at stages T-4 and D-3. This shows the team's desire to implement its scientific developments immediately in production, shortening the R&D-implementation process to a minimum. Most of the topics during this period are related to the national and sectoral complex programs and the quality program.

    The results of the developments were used as standards for planning the repair and maintenance activities in the former APCs and in the specialized repair enterprises, for improving the engineering service for repair and technical maintenance of the equipment, for determining the depreciation period of the agricultural equipment, etc.

    In addition, the department offers external services in the following areas:
  • Anodic oxidation of aluminum;
  • Unblocking injector needles for fuel injection nozzles;
