The training in the specialty Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment is conducted in an excellent material and technical base with modern technical means and technologies by a highly qualified teaching staff. This is a prerequisite for the successful realization of graduates of this specialty. The high quality of the taught knowledge is supported by the increasing cooperation with renowned companies such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, MOELLER, Comhard, etc. The Department of Electrical Supply and Electrical Equipment has signed agreements for mutual cooperation and practical training with the country's largest energy companies and leading companies in the electrical industry. The training in the field of electrical energy and electrical equipment provides competences that guarantee successful professional realization, teamwork skills, working with modern technologies, knowledge in the production, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, in the field of energy management, as well as in the use of electronic and computer technology process management technique. Students acquire and develop skills for collecting, processing and analyzing information and competences in energy efficiency and rational use of electrical energy. The education is carried out in full-time and part-time form according to curricula coordinated with the curricula of other higher schools in Bulgaria, as well as with leading universities in European countries. Diplomas for completed higher education are recognized in all countries of the European Union, Turkey, Russia and other countries.

Every year, the Electricity System Operator supports the education of students studying in the field of Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment, with the aim of development and implementation in the field of electrical power, by awarding annual scholarships to students from the 1st year to the 3rd year inclusive (http://www. eso.bg). The sъгдвьиягсз awarded to students majoring in Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment is the sum of the tuition fees for the two semesters plus an allowance of BGN 2,000 per academic year.

All students majoring in Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment can conduct part of their studies abroad under the ERASMUS+ program.

Graduates of the Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment major acquire the educational and qualification degree of Bachelor with the professional qualification of Electrical Engineer. They can continue their education to obtain the Master's degree in several Master's programs in the field of energy. Graduated students can work in the system of the Ministry of Energy, the National Electric Company, the Electricity System Operator, the Electricity Distribution Companies, the power plants - hydroelectric power plants, thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, photovoltaic and wind parks, in design firms, in the energy departments of all public and private companies from industry, agricultural production, transport, construction, etc.

Excellent conditions for social life have been created: more than 20 student clubs and sports sections, student theater, dance groups, singing groups, etc.

The Department of "Electrical Supply and Electrical Equipment" (ESEE) conducts training mainly for students from the "Electricity and Electrical Equipment" specialty. Lecturers from the department also teach students from the following fields and specialties:

• "Ecology and Environmental Protection",

• "Industrial Management",

• "Agricultural Engineering",

•  Engineering majors from 5.2 and 5.3.

Lecturers from the department provide assistance as lecturers in the branches of the University of Ruse in Silistra, Razgrad and Vidin.

The ESEE Department has developed new curricula for the study of students from the "Electricity and Electrical Equipment" major. They are aligned with the respective plans of leading countries such as Germany, England, France, etc.
