ALUMNI ASSOCIATION of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev"

The Alumni Association of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" continues the connection of the graduated students with the university. Many of the graduates of Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" are employed in prestigious state institutions and private companies or continue their education in world-renowned scientific centers. They continue to defend the interests of their university and contribute to its public image through the Alumni Association. Members are informed about university life each month, so they can participate wherever they are. The university organizes meetings between the current and the graduates.

The Alumni Association of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" provides an opportunity to build a lasting relationship between the alumni and the educational institution. The members of the Alumni Association will assist in the organization and holding of various forums, will prepare or participate as partners in national and international projects and programs related to the main goals and the subject of the educational institution.

Goals of the Alumni Association of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev":

  • Promotion of cooperation and collegiality between the former and the current graduates of the University of Ruse"Angel Kanchev";
  • Ensuring access and exchange of information, promotion of joint initiatives between the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" and its alumni;
  • Involvement of former and current graduates of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" by organizing professional, scientific, cultural, sports and other events;
  • Assistance of the academic structures in the organization and holding of workshops, conferences and other forums, as well as in the publication and distribution of printed and electronic publications related to the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev";
  • Encouragement and assistance for professional realization and conducting training internships and practices;
  • Providing feedback from the employers of graduates of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" about the quality of training and the overall level of the educational process;
  • Popularization of the activities of the Alumni Association of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" and the achievements of the graduates of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev";

Means of achieving the objectives:

  • Alumni network of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev";
  • Maintenance of an electronic database of graduates of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev"; 
  • Organizational means for carrying out the activities of the Alumni Association of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev";
  • Permanent body for exchange of information between the members of the Alumni Association, as well as between them and the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev";
  • An electronic portal with the aim of informing former and current alumni about events related to the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev".
