This installation has to use at least three different European renewable energy technologies, include energy storage component(s) and be able to provide 100% of hospital's annual needs for energy consumption. In this context any renewable energy source is allowed.

actions

The prize will be awarded, after closure of the contest, to the entry that in the opinion of the jury demonstrates a solution that best addresses the following cumulative criteria:

  1. Operation in the hospital premises for at least six months at the submission of the application ( maximum 20 points):
  2. Reliability, easy maintenance and safety of operation (maximum 20 points)
  3. CO2 emission reduction and sustainability aspects, potential energy savings (maximum 20 points)
  4. Minimal/non-invasive impact on premises (maximum 10 points)
  5. Low operation and maintenance costs, with cost of the energy produced equal to or lower than the cost of the old installation (maximum 20 points)
  6. Involvement of public (maximum 10 points)
