University Computing and Information
Services Center (UCISC)
The University Computing
and Information Services Center provides academic
and administrative computing services for the University
of Ruse. These services include managing and operating
the central computing and networking systems owned
by the University and providing leadership in the
innovative application of information technology
in higher education.
The UCISC operates Computing
Sites where faculty, staff and students can go to
use computers. Most computers at the sites are PC
with latest operating systems and UNIX workstations and
they are networked. Many popular software applications
and user manuals are available at the sites, including
wordprocessing, graphics, communications and spreadsheets.
The University network is connected to national
and worldwide networks, including the Internet.
