It is the only higher school in Northern Bulgaria which trains specialists in chemical, biotechnological and food-processing industries. The study process takes place in modern lecture halls and well-equipped laboratories. The lecturers at the College are highly qualified professionals including professors, associate professors, doctors of science. Full-time post-graduate students are also instructed here in the field of biologically active substances, organic synthesis, biotechnology, mathematical simulation and technological process control. The campus includes three classroom and laboratory buildings, a hostel, a canteen and a club. BASIC TUITON Basic tuiton at Technological College – Razgrad is carried out in the following specialities: - BIOTECHNOLOGY - FOOD PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY - CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY - MATERIAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING The graduates at the College obtain a higher educational qualification “specialist” in the respective speciality. They can continue their education for acquiring an educational degree “Bachelor” in the same or related speciality in other higher schools if they suit the state admission and tuition requirements. ADDITIONAL TUITION Technologicai College - Razgrad offers the students an opportunity for extra qualification, re-qualification and post-graduate qualification in: - Department of management - Foreign language centre Technological College - Razgrad guarantees highly professional schooling and knowledge gained in close cooperation mutual work between lecturers and students. The educative and research work at Technological College - Razgrad is carried out in 3 departments: 1. “Chemistry and Chemical Technology” Head of the department – head assistant-professor Miluvka Georgieva Stancheva Specialists in two basic directions - Chemical Technology and Material Science and engineering are instructed in the department of “Chemistry and Chemical Technology”. In addition it provides the fundamental schooling in the field of cheministry, biotechnology and food production technology (general and inorganic chemistry, organic and analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, colloidal chemistry etc.) The teaching staff includes lecturers having academic rank (professors and associate profesors), doctors of science (DSc), head assistant - professors. Apart from their educational work the lecturers do research work in the field of inorganic and organic chemical technology. They are in close integral relations with similar departments at Chemico Technological and Metallurgical University - Sofia, Sofia University “St.Kliment Ohridsky”, Bourgas University “Prof. Assen Zlatarov”. 2.”Biotechnology and Food Production Technology.” Head of departiment - head assistant – professor DSc Nastya Vassileva Ivanova The department of “Biotechnology and Food Production Technology” trains specialists for biotechnology and food processing industries.The teaching staff includes a professor, associate professors, doctors of science and head assistant-professors. Apart from educational work they do research work in the field of biologically active substances, biotechnology, enzymology and ecology. They are in close integral relations with similar departments at Higher Institute of Food Industry – Plovdiv, Sofia University “St.Kliment Ohridsky”, Bourgas University “Prof. Assen Zlatarov”. 3.General Education Subjects Head of the department - head assistant – professor Ivo Vladimirov Petrov. The department of “General Eucation Subiects” is in charge of the fundamental schooling (mathematics, informatics, technical mechanics, physics, economics, foreign language, physical training) of the students in all specialities. The teaching staff includes an associate – professor, head assistant – professors and senior lecturers. Research work is done in the field of mathematical simulation and technological process control.
